Lovely Lisa's Legs in Action
Congratulations Lisa! She has just run a challenging half marathon (13.1 miles). A real marathon is 26.2 miles which Lisa will accomplish in October 2017. Before the race Lisa is nervous and took the day off from running. "Eating a big dinner before a race is advisable," said Lisa "It's important to have enough energy to run 13 miles." Months before the race Lisa ran many miles a day and about 25-30 miles a week. Try to top that! Lisa's bib number was 2002. The reason she had the bib on so people would know where she was. The starting line was in front of Michigan Stadium. Let's go blue! The finish line was at Prickly Pear Cafe. Most of the route traveled along the Huron River. Lisa's time was 2:21:42 and got 22 out of her age group. Way to go Lisa!

Dancing Stars
Have you ever wondered what life is like for a dancer? Well Jamie and Keaghan Dea know it all. Jamie Dea is the oldest of the two at age 13. She takes many dance classes including: Stretch an Strength, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop, and Tap. Try to say that 3 times fast! When she was 5 Jamie won Tiny Miss Dancer of the Year out of everybody in her dance class. Her favorite dancing styles are Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop. She enjoys dancing at competitions. But Jamie's younger sister Keaghan is right behind her. She takes the following dance classes: Stretch and Strength, Musical Theater, Ballet, Acro, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and Hip Hop. She has won many awards with her dance group. And she loves to dance at competitions with her friends. Her favorite dance classes are Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Lyrical. Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap. That's morse code for Dance you Heart Out!
